Re: BGM Clubman bad fitting downpipe
Had to enlongate the main bracket slots plus grind off a section of the exhaust stub as it was catching on a cylinder fin ... but that aside it looks a sturdy piece of kit and it should perform well. So all in all, worth the fettling in my eyes but agree it could be a better fit. My guess is the ver...

Re: Lightened Flywheels
Yep, and if you are getting the flywheel machined, I'd also have the boss welded too, to help prevent it shearing.

Re: Can we talk about crankshafts?
Why do you want to alter the stroke and rod length of your crank? You have a standard kit and piston, why not fit a standard 58 x 107 black mec eur race crank and assemble as is?

Re: pinking rolling off throttle
its between 5-6k mate, timing should be around 18-19 deg, as I said earlier its 22deg at 1000rpm retarding back to 17 deg at 6000. cheers Jeff. Ok, its just sometimes the ignition curve isn't linear, and I'm not sure of the MTEC ignition curve. Would be checking that CR, just to be sure.
