What carb settings are you guys using? i have just built a std TS1 top end with LTH manifold and 30PHBH (MJ 140, P 55, Slide 40, Av266, X13 2nd clip, 300 float valve) with a Fran Supertourer. So far seems to run ok, just need to get some miles on it before taking to the dyno for setting up. Andy

Sounds like the selector spring, I had the same thing after a new build with all new parts. As soon as the power kicked in it would jump out of 3rd, replaced it with an uprated one from MB and it cured it.

Hi all After some advice, i am fitting a Franspeed Supertourer to an iron St4 200. What sort of port timings should i be looking at for the exhaust to work properly? Try lifting the needle one clip or try a X13 needle to richen it up. I take it you mean it won't idle below 1400 rpm?

Had a look at a mates T5 barrel at the weekend and he has a piece of the lining worn away/flaked off just above the transfer port on one side of the barrel. The piece is about 4x5mm in size, question is does he run it as is or have it plated or upgraded? What does it cost to have a barrel replated? ...

I use one, they do a universal fitting one I believe, it may be worth giving them a call and see what they can do for you.I have dealt direct with them and had good service from them.
