thanks Chris ;) I'll give it a go later.
can't be worse that the previous owners efforts. When his split pin broke he turned the tap to face out took the panel off and used his fingers to operate the tap :roll: :shock:

Ok your first dumb question of the day and your starter for 10 , no conferring. ;) how do you fit a replacement fuel tap ? Waiting for my sticky to arrive so no manual at present. The existing fuel tap on my LIS150 is fubar and leaking all over the place. I saw a high flow tap on ebay and though Mmm...

Polish the old paint to death and rust treat it,put missing bodywork back on,any colour will do,then blitz a couple of grand on the engine...Sorted. now thats a good suggestion. I really like the idea of having a Wolf in sheeps clothing and given the choice my passion lies with the mechanical side ...

It does look very sound and probably a good basis for a rusteration. But, you've got to consider that it's going to need a new rear end welded on for a start. Along with a new mudguard and horncast. Not to mention panels. The mixing and matching is going to be a nightmare. Still, overall I think I'...

that special is immaculate Chris ! :shock: Is that really the original paintwork ? it looks gorgeous ! I have this constant battle going on in my head. Should I replace everything with nice shiny stainless and chrome bits ? or just media blast the original rusty nuts bolts and fittings and keep them...
