For me 120 boost is too low. should be the same as the main transfers as a minimum, if you want speed. Lower is only good for economy, which is not so interesting.
Malossi make good cylinders that go even faster when they are ported

Re: carbon clutch plates
Just standard SAE30 lawnmower oil. Once bedded in it just feels like a standard clutch but no high speed slip

Re: T5 aly with a 152 polini conversion.
So you contiuned with the cautious port timing What was the duration of the boost port in the end?
I would start with a CR of at least 11 on this

Re: carbon clutch plates
Really pleased with them in mine. First time out was a bit grabby on pull away but a new thrust washer sorted that.

Nice porting job fastfrog! What transfer and exhaust durations with the 2mm packer? And squish clearance and compression?

Re: Dellorto PHBH Carburettor
Gary, Sounds like you are getting there just keep at it. The AS is better than AV for a 2 stoke and especially for lower rpm running. You might want to try a much smaller pilot to see if you are on the right track. Something like a 42 will show if this is the problem. If you cange to an AS you will ...

Re: Dellorto PHBH Carburettor
Gary, Sounds like you need to try one more atomiser smaller, AS262. The slightly smaller pilot will help but won't be enough. Put in the 45 pilot anyway and with an AS262 and recheck the half throttle and full throttle plug chops and adjust needle clip and main jet to new atomiser.

Re: 210 Malossi Worb 5 gearing
That explains it. A port is open when the piston edge is level with the port roof. Not when you can see light through the gap. Very small changes have a big effect on the degrees. According to my opinion and software you need 0.8mm packer on the base. And fit a head gasket to set the squish to 1.2mm...

Re: 210 Malossi Worb 5 gearing
JL is good, MHR good, 60mm crank good but Something is wrong here. A standard base gasket, 1.5mm head gasket, on std MHR barrel with a 60mm crank is 180ex and 124tfr. How are you working out your durations? Do you have locating lugs to keep your head centred? You are coming close to the whole tuning...
