Re: The boys are back in town....

what was the price http://www.ugo.com/tv/top-detectives/images/entries/frank-drebin.jpg It was a series of numbers on the receipt showing how much he'd been charged for that item, but that's not important right now.  , priceless, IH. Still the funniest film I've ever seen. I also love th...

Re: Rear brake cable

Yep, I have them on both my scoots and I'll never go back to the original bend the cable kerfuffle. These ones are so much easier to adjust. Only thing I'd recommend is to change the nyloc nut every know and then, maybe once a year, as they lose their "gripping" powers after they've been a...

Re: keihin jets

Look on the bright side, mate :D You got it for next to nothing, and you've found out it's not an economic fix before you've wasted days, weeks, months, trying to sort the jetting :D I'd call that a result ;) God knows what the history of that slide is, it's a right state and, anyway, the cutouts to...

Re: keihin jets

The slide, as you say, is 30mm width. The cutout in the front of the slide (when I say Arc, I mean the " ( " shape at the front ) should be 18mm at the bottom, and 5mm in height. If it's bigger than this, it might be for a bike. For your info, I've today received a JJK and GJH needle from ...

Re: nylon bush

I've had this problem with the white ones. I binned them and bought a set of black ones from MB which were, by comparison, almost finger push in.

Assuming that the Mikeck has the characteristics of, say, a PM expansion, then a 47 rear (I've got a fairly cheap SIL one in mine and never had any probs with it), and a 17 front would be my choice ;)

Re: keihin jets

:shocking: , don't have too much faith just yet, mate  I'll check the slide for you tomorrow hopefully but, I think, that sounds right for a lammy. I'll get the main jets in the post too ;) The ScootRS one is an oval bore, 28mm width, 30mm height. They are supposed to give a better throttle res...
