About to do some fettlin on a wee 90 myself, I am going to fit a kit to it and convert to 12v, will a pk electronic ignition fit on the original crank or is the diameter/taper different?

Re: Exhaust slip joint
Only just put on a new Franspeed, and the springs are easily over 10mm extended to fit onto the retaining loops. Having said that, I would think that as long as the spring is constantly under tension when fitted you should not have any problems with the joint.

Re: Clean the fuel tank
Drain tank completely into suitable container ( a big glass jar is best as you can see if there is any debris in the petrol) using a stocking or pair of tights to act as a filter, remove petrol tap. refill with the petrol using your finger to bung the hole for tap and shake scooter to agitate any cr...

Re: Slipping Clutch and oil out of breather
MB clutch springs are really good quality bits of kit, Ive had no probs with my clutch slipping on a 5 plate fitted to my TS1. However you will need arms like popeye if your riding around town as they are very stiff IMO. I have heard that the GT springs are very good too and are very light on the arm.

Scoot rs outboard disc
I have had this in the garage for a good while now, with all intentions of fitting. It is one of the early ones and have changed the caliper to the newer version (ss piston). I intend to change the master cylinder to one of the MB ones, are there any other things that require changing before fitting...

Re: what expansion pipe
I used a JAHSPEED on my 175 engine with a 22mm delly. Pretty rough whilst running in, didn't like being rich, but after dialing in she took off like a scalded cat. Good pipe, on the expensive side and had to wait a good while to get it too, but definately worth the wait. The tail can bracket was a b...

I'm selling a Triumph Daytona 650 with only 300 miles on the clock on 05 plate. Absolutly gleaming.
