I have an Indian crank with an offset pin (60mm stroke) and RD400 rod and was asking myself a similar hypothetical question. My thought was that running it without a base gasket would help to keep the port timings down and the 1mm shorter rod would compensate nicely for the longer stroke at TDC.... ...

Wiseco 423 (H2 750 and Jetski Bigbore) has the pins above each other and running in boost port, see my modified piston before repegging... http://picasaweb.google.com/Powolotti/NEWTS1245FastRoadTune#5286708284679660482 Wiseco 439 needs no repegging with unmodified boost port, but uses 18mm gudgeon ...

I think you can get the Wiseco ones seperate on ebay.com .It's the same one used in the 475cc Kwak jetski (423m07100).
