Re: BHP with a reed valve?
this is what i cant quite get, aprilias can get upto 33bhp out of a 125 piston on 2strock - ok they are perhaps lighter and compared to the lambretta aerodynamics are going to surely put the lam back a bit; but what is the "voodoo" that gets these bikes upto this speed with just a 125cc? ...

Re: Cast iron VS Aluminium cylinder
Well I'm very happy. I gave him the cylinder and a tracing of the (opened up) crank case gasket face gasket area and what I got back really was very tidy, the work to the transfers in the cylinder being most apparent. It's fitted to my SX150 with a clubman, PHBH 28, suzuki piston, mec long rod crank...

Re: Cast iron VS Aluminium cylinder
Give it to Harry Barlow to wave his die grinder over and turn that cow's ear into a silk purse.
I gave him my a rough SR190 cylinder (very similar to the above) and was very pleased with the quality of workmanship, end result and was charged a very reasonable amount too.

Re: FOXHAT 260's
I for one would like to know a little more about or see a graph for the 260 high speed monster :baddevil: Just to see what can be done. The ehtanol rip snort quaffer, although still very interesting in itself, would not be relevant when making comparison to road going RB's which is what most are. :)

I was referring to the two stroke oil feed.

Re: Anyone Else Using A Mikuni TMX30 On A TS1?
  Well mine wont rev to that!! I may be that not all carbs are the same though and it depends how high up the venturi the powerjet circuit is found. Will see how it goes, there's some running to do and the scooter although now done still needs registering, so no high revs for a while
