Re: 26 years later

Ah that's good.
The scooter looks fantastic.
Some hard work and effort gone into it.
I have a big pile of stripped down s2 eibar. :)
Am now working on doing a kind of restoration. If it turns out half as good as yours I will be happy :)

Re: 26 years later

Did I notice your fork tube bump stop had broken off when fitting the forks.

I have recently stripped my s2. The tube stop fell out. I had to weld it back on.

I don't think you can pass an MOT without a bump stop. Have you rewelded it?

Re: LD ish

Do LD legshields fit on a series 2 or 3 frame. I have an LD frame and legshields and am contemplating fitting a series 3 engine. Am I better welding in a frame section to an ld or using a series 3 frame?

Re: lifespan of powder coat?

My older brother terry. I forgot he went to kingsway for a while. I have a picture of him and a few others including mark Sealy playing rugby at Clarence street. Last rally I did was isle of Wight 4 or 5 years ago, been over to Brid a few times. Started a company five years ago 80 hour weeks in Sumn...
