One chip with powder coat the water gets under it as there's no etch onto the metal like spray etch painting

Re: rustproofing a pegasus seat base
Hi.I would get it acid dipped then zinc plated..etch primer then black two pack paint with a mist of clear wax oil to protect it once painted.

Re: lambretta frame jig work
I think for me it's all about keeping these machines in circulation for otherwise most of the stuff that comes to me would of ended up in the metal skip.

lambretta frame jig work
I've been spending lots of time recently rebuilding lots of lambretta frames so I thought I'd share some pics if anyone's interested http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/i433/wintermodel150/jig%20work/20140913_112827_zpshigala4i.jpg http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/i433/wintermodel150/jig%20work/2...

Hi.there should be two brackets welded to the legshields with m5 threads..if you've not got these then the legshields are probably Spanish.

Re: Degreasing.
If it's freshly sandblasted then it shouldn't have any grease on it.
I would just blow it off and then go straight on top with an etch primer .
