It will on a jetex carb,the fuel goes through the main jet before it gets to the pilot jet.

I bought a kickstart lever from KTFScooters.The kickstart lever is to fit a series1/2 with series 1/2 sidecase but it is the same length as a series 3 and it has made a difference.

I had a scootopia sh2/22 and the float was catching on the inside of the float bowl.I bought an original dellorto float and it was much less than a millimeter smaller but I fitted it and the carb has worked ever since.

The kickstart pedal on series 1 and 2 is considerably shorter than a series 3,I think that has a lot to do with it.

I have a Casa 185 on a series 1,too much compression,it seems like it wont kick up at times and I have to put all my weight (16 stones)on the kickstart.

I use a jetex on a series 1.I've used it for over a year without any problem.

I've got a Casa 210 kit.Everything is exactly the same,apart from atomiser is an AQ266 MJ 102 IJ 47 needle is a D26 on the top clip. Sorry it wont let me edit.
