Re: Schwalbe tyre has a bulge
Few years ago I had 3 navs get a strange split across them ,all in exactly the same pattern and all had been on the rear of Vespas and lambrettas. Found a couple of mates had the same, sent mine to continental and they furnished me with 2 free tyres, no explanation other than that it would be invest...

Re: sip tap no fuel??
Sounds like you've got the bit the tap on/off bar goes into in the wrong way round. If its not that there's not a lot to them, take it out and the bar etc off and you'll see 3 holes, if you pop the tall brass pipe and filter off blow into the holes with an airline ,you'll soon see what does what and...

Re: My 219cc polini
I've got a sip 9.5 litre tank which is basically a rally 200 top welded to a p-range bottom, it would fit a p-range but no autolube and would probably govern what type of seat you use due to the bulge and where the filler cap is. http://www.sip-scootershop.com/en/products/tank+sip+xxl+for+vespa+125+...

Re: Vespa rally 200 suddenly not well
Did the block the gearbox breather test and 2 out of 3 times it brought the revs down when they went up out of control, but then it settled down anyway and sat ticking over happily for ages  :? Dropped the oil ,was just under 200 ml and i'm sure it smelt petroly ,i even took it in to the mrs w...

Re: Disconnecting the autolube on a P200
Yes you can leave it all in place and just crimp up the metal tube that is sticking out of the carb. Crimp it up right near the end and fold it over ,that way you could cut it and re-use it in future if you wanted. Or cut a short piece of the oil feed pipe ,secure it on the metal pipe and force and ...

Re: clutch breather
I had a T5 motor that would do it but only on sidestand and especially if revved, that's got a cosa clutch but i think the cover is standard T5. It's probably something daft like the where the oil flings up from those clutches just happens to be in the right place to get quite a lot up the hole . It...

Re: clutch breather
The gearbox will pressurise , does it leak more when on a sidestand,is it a modified clutch housing letting the oil chuck up from the clutch straight at the hole? You could knock something up that moves the breather away from that area, say a pneumatic airpipe fitting into the breather thread and so...
