Re: 24mm PHBL jetting

Lots of people run these in the US so might want to post on the LCUSA board. 9 times out 10 they can be run stock with either the D22 or D29 needle. Main jets tends to be around 100 for those near sea level.

This is the manifold you want

Made for solid mount PHBL carbs (ignore the out of stock message) no more carb rubber popping off, no more replacing the air hose every 6 months due to the harsh and restrictive angle.

Re: Casa Lambretta Direct drive system

The center gear is actually under no stress at all - it spins freely on a bearing. There's more stress on that mounting area with a chain tensioner in place. I'm sure someone has tried this before but Vittorio says he's had this idea floating around in his head for several years. It's an interesting...

Re: BGM front damper rebuild?

They have to be rebuilt at the factory. If its still under warranty, contact the dealer you purchased from and have them arrange an exchange. It can sometimes take some time if BGM do not have any rebuilt ones to exchange on hand.

Re: bgm/mb clubman exhaust

VHT if you don't mind respraying every so often. Otherwise ceramic coat and be done with it. I would at the very least ceramic coat the u-bend on any exhaust. Powder coating will look like s**t eventually. But for coating and plating you got a bargain.

Re: Rear brake problem

The Jockeys rear brake is a must have on any SIL case in my opinion. Won't work with the Tino rear hub though - inner diameter is too small.

Re: GP Chaincase side question?

15 minute job. Very easy to do. You need a 5mm drill bit and a M6x1.0 tap. The template is right there on your GP crankcase cover. Take the depth measurement from you old case, dot punch the center of each hole to be drilled on the GP cover, drill each hole to depth (can be done with a hand drill if...
