Re: Spanish Decals/Badges/Decals and the like
Would have thought it best to contact one of the Spanish lads who post on here or the LCGB site, like Supereibar.

Re: FREE - Mick Abbey Tuned Cylinder up for grabs!!
I'd have it in the blink of an eye if I could meet your stringent standards. Just not in a position to meet the six week rule (can make a good cuppa, though)

Re: GP150 cylinder - Mick Abbey Tuned - Back to the old school !
Getting back to the original thread, any news on putting Mick's tuned cylinder in an engine and testing? I am eagerly awaiting test info on this (like a kid waiting for Xmas)

Re: Stiff crank
I found that the seals do give some resistance to turning the crank by hand, and this should be expected with new seals, and even existing ones if they are doing their job properly. You shouldn't expect the crank to spin freely. Do make sure you have a gap between the mag housing and crank and on th...

Re: Hub/Damper WTF?
You got me worried there Bilkers, so I popped up the workshop to have a look at mine. If I went over a very, very ;) deep pothole or suchlike, it looks like the top of the dome nuts might just scrape the dampers, or might miss completely, as its a very tight gap if at all. When I rebuilt my forks I ...

Re: Cooling Lambrettas
Jims, have you tried doing the mod to the mag housing to get more air to the cylinder? Photos pinched off someone else. Not so sure that the inner lip needs to be removed though, would have thought just the outer would be enough and allow more air through. Unless someone can advise me otherwise. htt...

Re: Who’s had one twist?
Why is it that I keep reading of a certain same supplier's cranks twisting on all forums? Isn't it about time they did something about it? Why should people have to keep sending these cranks back, involving wrapping and posting, stripping down of their recently built engines and being off the road t...

Re: oil in mag housing
If its just a drop, I'd say not to worry. It can be easy to overpack the magside bearing with grease, and after its all together, a little can get forced through the seal.

Re: Lambretta Points Ignition...
Nice article Jims. On my scoot, I've taken the condenser away from the stator and connected it to the frame leg as the earth and the wire from it connects to the LT lead to the coil, so does the same job. This removes it from the harsh environment of the flywheel, and I have a spare next to the cond...
