I had two bad vibration issues. First one, the flywheel side bearing journal was out of round... a new bearing would 'fix' it for a hour or two. Yes they all take that size. If they don't have the slotted head then it's an 11mm (spanner size) hex head.

I've been told that the LML reed opening is a closer match to a 20/20 (in terms of area) than anything else... so as well as any jetting issues, there may be a bottleneck at the reed for a bigger carb and higher flow venturi.
