I have seen people compress them with a whole lot of zip ties, just a little bit at a time.

It's a bit too light with the (easily smashed) plastic flywheel on it. Way better with an aluminium one.

I've used it before, cleaned up a cast iron Polini beautifully. Also used it on a lightly seized Pinasco 225 which needed some help from a wire brush... worked perfectly. Also used it to help free the rings on the same kit, far easier than other methods. But definitely outdoors only, use a mask and ...

I had two bad vibration issues. First one, the flywheel side bearing journal was out of round... a new bearing would 'fix' it for a hour or two. You could grab the flywheel and move it up and down, but only at BDC! Second was the clutch spreading, couldn't work out what it was until the thing fell a...

Just found this on facebook... I see the motor is further forward than a Vespa motor, but it does have a similar 'frame' as yours Ducksta. Yes they all take that size. If they don't have the slotted head then it's an 11mm (spanner size) hex head.

I've been told that the LML reed opening is a closer match to a 20/20 (in terms of area) than anything else... so as well as any jetting issues, there may be a bottleneck at the reed for a bigger carb and higher flow venturi.
