Was it an easy push fit into the piston ?

Have the crankcase side machined down 1mm ,where the shaft sits, and use an over size washer on the outside.

Starting from the back, pink (brake) and black (light) to the back light, then green to your coil, red and yellow ( should be connected together for AC ) to the voltage regulator, red next not used on AC, red and pink to the brake switch, red with a ring terminal not used on AC, red to horn, pink fo...

The BGM ones are good

Its about heat, as revs rise power and heat rise, by moving the timing closer to tdc you move the heat into the exhaust and not the cylinder head/ piston and you don't melt the piston.

I would find out the stroke of the rod, it looks very short to me.

Or tap it to 3.5 mm
