I'm using one with an Avanti kit but running in so can't really give an opinion . It certainly looks and feels well made though
I took it to CS engineering to check for true before fitting and Chris was impressed ,so that's a good start

Re: PHBH float weight
Didn't make the difference that I'd hoped it might ;) Thanks Yanker for the French lesson , we spent most of our classes studying Miss Andersons glorious rack so I'm not surprised my recollection is poor :D And I now always carry a spare float after having an issue , I bet the black ones Adam has w...

Re: PHBH float weight
Didn't make the difference that I'd hoped it might ;) Did it make any difference at all :?: when I changed from a 6.5 to 9 I suffered a rich tick over and pick up :? That was on an RT kit I'm also using a 6.5 on my Avanti but am still running in using Ron's carb settings - I will check with him and...

Re: PHBH float weight
Hi Colin ,As Yanker says definitely a 6.5g
Part of the reason I had starting and running issues at the Euro last year was due to using a 9g after my 6.5g filled up with petrol
And the float height is 24mm + - 0.5mm

Re: PHBH Slides between 40 and 45
It's less than I thought, the cut out on a 50 is 5mm and on a 40 its 4.1mm ;) Lets say its a 1mm difference to allow some tolerance on my vernier So presumably on a 45 its 4.5 , 42 =4.2 etc As Colin says you could drag it across a 5 o'clock shadow and shave .1 mm off :D I'll try some fine emery and ...

Re: PHBH Slides between 40 and 45
Thats what I'm just about to do Paul ,although as the difference between a 50 and 40 is only approx 1.2mm I was going to use a fine file to ensure the cutaway remains flat.
