Re: Reedspeed 5 plate clutch

personally I would go TS1 or Monza with 60x110 crank, play with packers to lower port timings slightly (probably raise/widen exhaust port slightly) TMX 30/32, either of those exhausts, LI150 box (16/46) Readspeed 5 plate, should make for a good tractable motor that will still rev on well The above i...

Re: Reedspeed 5 plate clutch

Tough one that as you already have a screamer and a plodder....sorry tourer LOL
depends what you want, what carb/exhaust you thinking of ? you having the barrel "worked" or you leaving it standard ? is it going to be a rally bike or an everyday street screamer ?

Re: Reedspeed 5 plate clutch

I've fitted a few, every one I have fit has worked out of the box, no slip/drag etc, I can't rate them highly enough for the money. 2 of my scoots have them in (a 22.7 BHP Imola and a 27.9 BHP TS1) both running gp200 boxes with different sprockets, not a bit of slip (I've put a lot of miles on them ...

Re: Which spray gun for compressor?

I've had good results using one of these. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/110697881222 That gun has a huge 2.0mm set up and has a high cfm (uses a lot of air) I have had good results with these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HIGH-QUALITY-LVLP-GRAVITY-FED-SPRAY-GUN-LOW-AIR-CONSUMPTION-1-3-WITH-REG-TRAP-/29191...

Re: lambretta ts1 oko jetting

A genuine OKO is made under licence (from Keihin) in Taiwan and are a decent carb, a lot smaller than a round slide, easy to dial in, smoother running and better throttle response than a round slide dellorto (ride the same bike with both carbs set up correctly and the difference is night and day) BU...

Re: lambretta ts1 oko jetting

If it's a genuine OKO with hex jets (not a cheapo ebay copy with round jets and unmarked needle etc) then 42-45 idle,1-2 turns on idle mixture screw, 140-145 main and a JJH mid clip should get you somewhere near as a good starting point

Re: Indian 225 kits on eBay

If you already have a 200 then I wouldn't bother with the cheap ally kit, I would buy a 70mm mitaka piston from Ron Moss, (I just bought another for £55 posted !!) get your existing barrel bored/head altered and you will have a far better and more reliable (and more than likely quicker)225 for aroun...

Re: Race Tour Pistons

I recently bought another Italian GP with a "no expense spared" TS1 engine in it, although it went well, I knew there was more to be had out of it so pulled it to bits to A: check it over and for piece of mind (bearings/seals etc) and B: do a bit of porting on the cylinder to try and get a...

I use these bulbs in both my Gp's (standard but mint headlights, new wiring etc) one has an Indian stator and the other uses a BGM 120w stator, both as bright as each other but BGM one slightly brighter at tickover These bulbs are bright as fcuk, good beam pattern (as they are designed for the refle...
