Re: scooter in a vauxhall meriva

Won't go in an A or B Meriva stood up but like Burnside said on its side will go, flat floor is the issue. A smallframe would probably fully fit but not PX or Lambretta. A smallframe just goes into an old shape Renault megane for comparison

Re: Tyres, 100/90-10, 100/80-10?

Treeman - 100/90 is about 10mm Wider than a 3.50 but the same height. 90/90x10 is as near to a 3.50x10 in metric sizes.

Take Mick1 up on his offer so you can see.

Re: Tyres, 100/90-10, 100/80-10?

The 80 Tyre has a smaller height than the 90 therefore it would reduce your gearing. I. E. 100/90 = 100mm wide and height 90% of width which is 90mm. Same principal 80% is 80mm height.

Re: LML Disc Brake - Speedo cable Retaining plate?

The retaining plate is usually not bent at a sufficient angle and puts undue pressure on the cable just above where it enters the drive causing premature failure. Bend the bracket so when fully bolted down, it sits flush to the face where the cable enter the caliper carrier / back plate. Shouldn't h...
