I have as well but do prefer to use a base gasket. AF do do 0.1 ally base gaskets for the RB20s which are useful. Try the X2 needle top clip or the x13 2nd clip. That should richen things up part throttle. As you richen the mid range you often get a cough about 4-5000rpm. Be careful not to weaken too much to get rid of it because on the dyno the fuel graph is usually bang on either side. A bell mouth sometimes ...
