Ok, thanks.
I`m running a TMX 30, I think I have to find another solution because that just doesn`t cut the mustard.

Fit one of the above and the throttle is a little stiff now.
Is that the norm with these?

Re: SS250 build - carb won’t fit
Sounds fun. Can`t wait.
I managed to fit my motor and long range fuel tank last night and the carb clears the tank cut out by a couple of hairs.
Started to get worried when I saw your post.
I have an Oiltek tank.

Re: SS250 build - carb won’t fit
I`m fitting mine right now.
Mine has been touring tuned by CS and I`m using a TMX30 (you can`t change the Atomiser on a 35) and the ads3 pipe.
Luckely for me, there is 4 ft of snow outside so I`m gagging to have a go!

Re: Exhaust for mb rt230 reed valve
The new Chisselspeed pipe has had a little re-work and I unknowingly the one I bought.
It now runs to 7700rpm but I still run a 4.7 final and love it to bits.

Re: Rear brake binding
Sorted now. I measured the Newfren pads and a set of Makino and they are the same thicknes. My cam was the same thickness too. Swapped the pads and the binding has gone. Looking at the Newfren, the brake pads are a little longer on the shoe and the wear marks from me turning the hub are on the trail...

Re: Rear brake binding
I replaced it with a SIL Indian GP cam.
I am running GP pads and the wavy gp clip.
I have another set of pads so I can try those first, then see how that goes.

Re: SS250 - keep centre plug or not?
I have a standard non centerd head on my SS250 but I havn`t run it yet.
Can`t see why it would be a problem. I actually don`t think I could use a centerd plug with my exhaust because I had to grind down my head cowl fixing bolt to fit the pipe already.
