prefer the early Li 125 engines myself, original gearbox with 18 x 47 allows a quality new 82 link chain, gives a great ratio for a torquey motor, nice 1st gear for loaded up scoot / clutch life etc plus most have had an easy home life and then subsequently been left alone by the Island Ape boys. might have a spare front wheel clamp for my hydraulic ramp. I say spare ..... the clamps brand new, never been used in years :lol: :lol:

wouldn't the tv 175 s2 airbox fit? I recall this being designed (bigger diameter top hole / wider) for better airflow for the 20 mm carb? I used the extension provided and popped it near the usual CDI / Reg position. I felt that I've got to remove this panel anyway to check wires etc should anything go amiss?

the rd 350 ypvs piston comes in approx. 64 - 66 mm sizes. Different crown height / profile but might be worth a long term thought / investment ?

Fellas, Try not to get bogged down in the finer detail .... I was trackside in Spain when PT turned up with the 2 road going scooters.
