I didn't get on with the Mikuni TMX35, Swapped it for a dellorto and got a lot more response and a lot smoother throughout the rev range

Agreed, If you have no plans to sell then spray it whatever colour rocks your boat. If you want to return it back to factory spec at a later date then do that too. Good luck with it

Next Job, Get a temp spacer made to fill the gap left by moving the engine over.
