rear hub woe
just put my rear hub and cone of my gp150 onto sil 200 stage 4 tried to torque it up to the grin factor and now it is catching on the lip from the back plate where the shoes fit,i`ve noticed that behind were the shoes fit in the hub it is rubing on some bits of bad casting i`m wondering if i should ...

thanks for that ,but is it their so the oil can breathe as to not create pressure in side the engineRICSPEED wrote:well i know the thread is the same but there should not really be a problem as far as i can see unless a seal goes

breather plug
just wondering, all my engines have had breather plugs fitted to the top of the engine but noticed my broth`s only got a blank plug fitted like the drain plug, he`s been everywhere on is scoot and not one bit of trouble,so should we or shouldn`t we ,wots its purpose ?

took head gasket off checked squish 1.0 i`m going to fit a thinner gasket to get squish to about 1.2mm/1.3mm then i`ll be

Here you go.
At TDC piston edge is approx 1mm below top of cylinder, head gasket is 1.5 mm, and cylinder head is shown in pics....

took ally head of stage 4 200 noticed no squish band behind plug hole,head gasket 1.5mm is this to compensate,as anybody else noticed this

just got one of a friend,he`s going the auto route so tonight i checked the squish,now the solder was about 1.5m so i twisted it stuck it to the piston with grease,put it back together torqued it up 20lbs turned engine over took head off solder not touched ????? the head gasket was 1.5 but i also no...

wot i`m going to do sean is take the barrel +piston to a gentleman opp our works who builds up classic bikes, he got all the tools /laithes he does re-bores the lot ,and ask him just to check in case then i`ll get back to u
