Thanks for the reply. It may be just spanish series 2 and early jets that have fitting issues? I'm sure I read somewhere that they don't always fit spanish rear hubs.

Series 2 performance exhaust.
Got a bog standard series 2 exhaust that's going on a standard series 2 150 engine. Are there any known modifications that can be done to it to ,ahem, enhance it's performance?

That's exactly what happened to me earlier this year. If not using the exhaust for a while, store it somewhere warm and it will dry out. When you do use it, carry a long piece of wire (straightened out coat hanger ) under your seat to coax out any bits of carbon that get stuck in your tailpipe and m...

Spanish series 2 frame weakness.
Am I right in thinking the Spanish series 2 has a weak spot regarding the part of the frame where the engine mounting bolt goes through the frame? Is this area prone to failure/cracking? Might put a tuned motor in, so do I need to strengthen this area up?

I think I know the main differences between an (li) type winter model and a standard spanish li,but does anyone know if there are any differences between li wintermodels apart from colour etc? I have seen wintermodels advertised as having the ''correct'' holes in the legshields where the spare wheel...

Looks nice as well great find , any history ? No history, just going off the last spanish tax sticker on the legshields re when last on road. :D Lovely, Stu. Couldn't resist it.Since delivered I've changed the tyres, tubes and levers etc, serviced it and booked mot.Looks like it's been off the road since 1976.Runs sweet.
