I'll bear the ceramic in mind for when I get a new exhaust, this one still has life in it but not that much!

I've been recommended this one which is good for 816C and has very good reviews but only comes in matt black. The alternative is this which is good for 600C and comes in various colours.

While my engine is stripped I'm going to give my exhaust some TLC, what temperatures can I expect a JL pipe to get to on an Imola? The reason I ask is that I want to blast and paint it... PJ1 seems to be the best as regards temperature but only comes in matt black, I'd prefer something shiny but the...

I'd leave it standard, you'll just get there slightly quicker.

I find this whole thread absolutely ridiculous, lot's of things have nearly killed me on a Lambretta and most can usually be put down to my own stupidity for not checking something or ignoring warning signs etc etc... What I have never done is contact the supplier of whatever part broke and ask for ...

Imola 186, Rock Oil at 3%, 2500 miles in 2 months without a complaint.. not saying it wouldn't be ok on semi but why risk it?

It may well also have originally been Turquoise, there were some 150's though not many.
