I use one and this happend to me, just leave it be and after a while it will re-set itself, bloody annoying though.

Its a shame that you have to use a side stand Simon, its a pity that theres not more clearance built into these exhaust,s from the off to allow for base packers and the differences in the length of some engines, they are tight at the best of times. regards.

I had a bit of trouble fitting my Franspeed tourer on my RB22 with out a base packer, 107 rod used, i didnt have a BGM on at the time but do now, i think they are a tight fit anyway and the extra 3mm the packing plate has moved the exhaust port forward wont be helping matters, IMO the BGM shocker is...

The aprilia 125 end cans with the bent tail pipe fit a treat to the JLs, and there quiter, bought a new one for £30 a week ago but you can pay upto £50, have a butchers at your local bike wreckers for a bargan.

Bufficus [simon] knows alot more than i do, but when i twisted mine the seal remained intact and there was no oil in the maghouseing but the flywheel moved ecentricly and as you said baz it started shaveing the pickup, not good flat out on the M180 on a RB230, didnt feel any vibrations through the h...

Dont know if you,ll feel it in the handle bars but look at your flywheel as someone turns your engine over with the kickstart, if the flywheel moves ecentricly the cranks twisted, regards.
