I have done a couple of short journey's maybe 30 miles in total evrything seems ok but I have noticed that there are black oily deposits on the flywheel cowl and on the exhaust end can. thanks for all the tips, i've got a sheet of roofing rubber it's a bit thicker than an inner tube, i'll cut a couple of strips out of that.

fitting an SSP 13l tank and I have fitted the bottom and the long rubber that slides in the cross member near the rear wheel, but the 4 rubbers that normally sit on the join of the standard tank in the middle it looks like you don't need them but the straps then are griping straight on the tank. Imola mixture
Almost finished my winter rebuild, so I have fitted an Imola on my GP150, all new seals bearings, 30mm carb, Andy Francis staineless exhaust, I've read a few things and it seems 3% is what most recommend, also I normally use Putoline classic 2 stroke. So is 3 % with Putoline ok?

In Sicky's manual he says 0.7l is the Lambretta recomended yet many only put 0.5l in, bit unsure any advice?

Is the air scoop still needed if you are not using the air filter box, I know it's not feeding the carb directly but does it help, I have just fitted an Imola with a 30mm carb and almost finished but the air scoop catches on the seat so wondered if i can just take it off and blank the hole.
