Re: Mod 1 and 2 On Scooter
You can do it, no problem. You'll struggle with the speed trap an mod1 if yours is standard, and you'll need mirrors,. You'll only be able to get an a1 license, meaning restricted to a 125, but- You'll never have to do a cbt again You'll never have to use L plates You can take a passenger You can t...

Re: PX Rear Indicators
Can you check this to be sure? On a DC system the "headset indicator" gets its power at the same time as the others, so if the headset one was flashing at a rapid rate, I'd expect the main front ones to be doing the same. Only managed to get the rear to work very briefly while faffing wit...

Re: PX Rear Indicators
When i say the headset indicator i mean the light next to speedo that lets you know the indicators are switched on. Yes, that's the one I'm asking about. If your indicators normally alternate front to back (never on at the same time), you have an AC indicator system. If back and front flash at the ...

Re: PX Rear Indicators
Are they AC indicators? When you say, "the headset indicator flashes like crazy", does it actually go out, or just alternate in brightness? Not sure if they're AC, it's a 2007 PX. When i say the headset indicator i mean the light next to speedo that lets you know the indicators are switch...

Re: PX Rear Indicators
I'd check the wire connections on the back of the indicator switch on the headset. I've had experience of these 'stretching' and coming away from the solder (which then touch again resulting in the indicators working sometimes but not all the time). It could be the wires to the connections behind t...

PX Rear Indicators
Hi, i'm having issues with my rear indicators. From time to time both will stop working. I can usually tell when they are playing up because the indicator light on the headset/speedo flashes like crazy rather than just on and off in time with the indicators. It's been to the garage twice, but both t...

Re: Paint Removal
Did it damage the factory paint underneath at all? So far i've cleared all the paint off the headset, it's messy, but comes off fine. Done a small test on the inside of the leg shield and it is only removing the top layer of paint and not the factory paint. I'm guessing the shiny/clear lacquer they...
