Don't listen to the f1 grade steel its bollox,they have made it sound good to flog the gearbox its all hype,i work in steel stock holdings,its even the wrong steel there using it should be sae 8620 black/blue or en36b red/white if theres enough of us who want a better 5 speed box all get on to mark ...

I think they have tried to copy the pipe design pipes,with a bigger pipe going to the silencer for strength,but pipe design have a bracket on the silencer to shock mount.
was it twisted rods flogging them?

chalkey white @replay scooters,theres a chap at JL polishers in Hinckley,is kettering scooter shop still open,is Coventry scooter shop still open,harry barlow,theres a couple of shops in brum area,but you could courier the engine to were u want.try readspeed there ok with allsorts of scooters

ian at taffspeed has been testing it on the GT kit for a while and sorting out some port issue(exhaust?)I was looking into getting one and mathias said ian had one and mb has one for testing off phillip at sck.mark recons much better than the franz race,but it needs strengthening around silencer are...

RT is a basic cylinder kit,but once you have it,you can get anything done to it,touring fast road or race stage 8 tune, extra boost ports, reed or no reed LC 225CC up to 250cc+.
