Well done to Rayspeed. They seem well tested and excellent value, if you really need one.
I nearly bought a Cyclone one but too many just aren’t right and they are still very expensive.
I’ve no doubt the MB ones will also be good but expensive.

Softer Stand Spring
Can you get softer stand springs that don’t clatter the rear runners and are easier to push off the stand?

Innocenti Squish
I try and follow the 1.0-1.5 recommendation but on a recent rebuilt I ended up with 2.0. This was a little annoying as I did a dry build and thought I got close to 1.5. Anyway, the scooter runs very well but only running in. I’ve got a standard TV175 S3 that runs incredible well and that factory squ...

Re: Piston and Ring Clearance
Okay, took it back to the shop. The rings were upsidedown. Looking at the pin position and rings there was nothing to indicate a difference but he pointed out a small mark at the edge of the rings and that side faces the top of the piston. One to watch out for others using that type of piston.

Re: Piston and Ring Clearance
Checked the ring gap at the top of the barrel and that was fine. I’m thinking the Suzuki TS185 pistons with the rings on needs a larger clearance than normal. It all just seems a bit odd.

Piston and Ring Clearance
Just have TV barrel rebored for Suzuki TS185 piston. The guy honed it for 3.5 thou clearance between the piston and the barrel but now I’ve put the rings on the piston will hardly go into the barrel. Should the clearance be between the rings and the barrel, any other suggestions?

Re: Casa ssr265
Just spotted that the SSR265 is a staggering £8150.00. I also read that the SSR engines are getting ‘orders are (literally) flooding in daily’ . I find this hard to believe. I know one person that’s just bought one but he’ll ride it round the block a few times not going over 50mph and just park it i...

Re: Mugello 186, best set up.
Save some money, go up to 16 on the front sprocket and a 22mm will be enough. Any Clubman will work.
