Re: Stupid Jokes
A bloke is sat on the sofa watching TV when his wife comes in.
'Notice anything different about me?' she asks.
'Nah, not particularly. Had a haircut ?'
'No, not that'
'Oh, bought some new jewellery?'
Nope'
'A new dress then?'
'No, not that either'
'I give up then'
'I'm wearing a gas mask'.

Re: engine rebuild
Looked at this the other day, and as Garry ^ says, the shoulder on the crank stops against the bearing. Work from that. I'd be inclined to put bearing (loose) onto crank (make sure you have a method of removing the bearing!), and measure. check you've correct bearing, and that crank is correct. I've...

Re: Stock vs single piece crown wheel
David, yours is the 'cush drive' type and would highly recommend that you change it, even for a cheap Indian one. Check when you get it that it is actually 'round'. Rotate it, mounted without chain against a fixed marker (bit of welding wire bolted to engine stud), or a dial gauge. If it isn't, SEND...

Re: Anyone use Mikuni TMX power jet?
Soulsurfer, I'm not having a go. I just can't imagine coming home after a club meet at 23.00 hrs/ late from a rally, getting up in the morning and changing to a weaker mixture to go to work/ nip down the shops to get some milk for the cornflakes. I haven't looked at the Camlam set-up properly, or ha...
