Very nice work to a high standard indeed, was thinking more street racer than group racer though.
Some recommended engines specs based on what other people have had done to their TS1's would be of interest also.

Hi Chris thanks for the info. The engine in question as far as I know having just purchased the scooter is a standard TS1 225 with 5 plate clutch running GP 125/200 gearing, 34mm Amal carb and a sterling exhaust. Not had time to have ride on it yet but it will be getting rebuilt into hopefully a rap...

Thinking about building a GP street racer with a TS1 225 engine I already have and was wondering how far can this engine be taken performance wise. I am thinking about out and out acceleration and high speed suitable for road use, not really touring more short distance. Hope this makes some sort of ...

I was through at his place today and asked about this very process.
Dave has done this to good effect on a few scooters although it is a somewhat specialist process.
