I have af road and race both good clutchs very light with a good nylon lined cable one thing do not use a dog leg lever use a standard lever, I did have a li side casing which I changed to a gp side casing due to problems with clutch action

you'll be ok up to at least 350 m8 if anything above start to use the choke

try a Harry Barlow of pro porting kit he does upto a 280cc + kit low revving and go on for ever
