Re: What black..
My entire SX 200 is powdercoated, then roughed up a tad, then primered, then painted with 2 pack. Powdercoat makes an excellent base provided your frame and sheet metal is perfect with no Bondo. If you want to go cheapish I would advise you to explore "Appliance Paint". I don't know what y...

Re: Macsi/fuel pump plumbing
I can't see why not providing the vacuum pulse is strong enough to pump the fuel through. The only way to tell is to suck it and see... The carb will be set higher than the fuel level in the tank when low which leads to starvation so a pump is a must but if it over fuels you will need to fit a rest...

Macsi/fuel pump plumbing
I'm building a fast touring P-200 E. Here's the spec. Worb 5 Mushroom long stroke crank, Pinasco kit, German Market TM 27 carb, MBD reed, SIP carb manifold, Macsi boost bottle, SiP fast flow tap and JL Right hander. Do I need to fit a fuel pump? If so, can I plumb it to the same brass bung that the ...

Re: Vintage vespa kits
I think they are, but isn't it fairly easy to cut a third port into the case? Add some material, cut your port and machine the surface. Yes?

Re: R U wantin the rusty look
I have a problem that I think many of us suffer from. I make things "Too" nice. As a result I can't just ride a scoot to the market and leave it sit for fear it will get nicked. So, for a daily driver/beater this product would be fantastic. I lived in Venice Beach Ca, where lowrider bicycl...

Re: 62mm Crank/Piston recomendations
thanks guys for the responses. I know guys are using a steel liner but what is the benifit over just boring and re nicasiling? wis this done because the walls are becoming too thin? I would prefer the benifit of nicasil so what is the largest cc capacity for a road going nicasil TS 1? I am starting ...

Re: 62mm Crank/Piston recomendations
Ideally I'd like to approach 240 cc's. What do you recommend? As it sits I have a 62 mazz crank, I'll get the length of the rod and let you know. Obviously we can change the rod if need be.

62mm Crank/Piston recomendations
I've tried to search an answer first. No luck. Do any of you have high recommendations for a quality and easily sourced piston to be used in a TS1 with a 62mm crank? Build specs to include SX 200 gearbox, Taffspeed Road Pipe, 35 TMX. I'm in California so Wiseco would be my best option but I've had 2...

Re: FAG NU2205E - but made in India!!
Sure, explain to me how the west decided to cut in the Chinese because they feared everyone would think they were racists if they didn't. Why did we want buttloads of cheap ass Chinese goods to replace well made but more expensive domestic goods? This was because we were collectively trying to shed ...

Re: FAG NU2205E - but made in India!!
I've never once seen a program me or news spot that alluded to racism as a factor. It kind of expanded during the Clinton years and that whole "most favored nation" BS. I think it's strictly a response to the lifting of tariffs and corporate greed. If you have examples of "Liberal Me...
