Just remember to change spark plug to "R" type plug.

looking at my new plugs BR9 & BR8 what does the R mean and why does the speedo need them??
The R stands for Resistor.

RIP Sausage! Absolutely agree with Mr. Gadget. Steve was quite a character and made watching the DVD's a lot of fun, so much so that my wee ones would ask to watch.

Re: Armondos Vespa photos wanted

Thanks guys. Thanks for the pm speedy. Rosscia, that's a great couple of detail shots, cheers. I may have made a great score on the use of a huge spray booth at the movie studio where I work. I will post photos when I start.

Re: Armondos Vespa photos wanted

I will have a look at those, thanks. I would love to do a replica except I am upgrading in a couple areas, Namely a full hydraulic front disc and a JL righty. I am using a TM 27 with a powerjet instead of twin carbs but I'm definatley going Pinasco with a Long stroke crank. This is the scoot that I'...

Armandos Vespa photos wanted

Hey all, I'm planning a Armandos inspired p range build up. I will attempt my first full paint job. I am having a hard time pulling good high res images off the web for research. If anyone has some to share or can tip me to where to look it would be very helpful. Thanks. Changed my incorrect spellin...

Re: 62x107 crank in a TS1

Sorry guys, it's a 62mm crank with a 107 rod. Seems like a weird combo to me. I have it available, would it be worth using in a TS1? I have a TS1 kit which needs re nicasiling so I'm looking for advice on a good combo of crank and piston. Those Mitaka pistons looked tasty. I was hoping one of you wo...

62x107 crank in a TS1

What would be the pros and cons of a shorter stroke 63mm crank in a TS1 225? Since I'd have to machine the case to fit the 62 would it even be worth it? I could swap out the rod but it would cost more=maybe not the best option.

Re: 62mm Crank/Piston recomendations

I found out that the Rod is a 107. This seems an odd choice for a 62 mm crank doesn't it? Anyone know what my options would be using this crank?

Re: Painting a clubman..

I Don't know if you can get this stuff over there but I've used POR-15 "Black Velvet" High Temp Paint. Comes in a tin and I thin it a little and shoot it with my HVLP gun. It's expensive but the tin lasts a long time. I've painted my taffy exhaust 3 times with a pint and I've got about hal...
