I have a couple of stripped casing threads where the bracket for my Taffy pipe mounts.
What size helicoils will I need and where's the best place to get em from?
Thanks

Re: TS1 not running right?
Is it possible to get celt to confirm those settings. I'm going to order a new needle and jet etc Another question - when adjusting the mixture screw, does screwing in richen or lean the mixture? If so , how many turns in or out is a base setting for me to work with? Thanks again ;) ;) celt runs a 3...

Re: TS1 not running right?
Its running a li150 box and as far as i know its a standard ts1 barrel.
Al(Diablo) did rebuild it a couple of years ago so I'll pm him as he may well be able to put his finger on the reason for poor running.

TS1 Pistons : Asso to MBD Race Tour?
Just recieved a MBD Race Tour Piston for my Ts as the Asso was shagged. Quick question - is there anything I need to do other than just fit the piston and run it in? The cut-outs on the piston appear taller and the piston skirt is different to the Asso. So will I need to alter fuelling/timing etc? W...

Re: taffspeed exhaust end can
Give Simon @ B-Race a bell - 07881 552335. I needed a new downpipe and rang Taffspeed and was informed that even though they still make the mk4,I couldnt buy just the downpipe - work that one out?!! I rang Simon and he remade me a new downpipe matched from the old one for £50. Top fella, Recommended.

Re: Ts1 Rebuild questions
I would recommend contacting Harry Barlow(Pro Porting) he was doing a bearing/viton seal set today at Kettering for £45 and were top quality. Not seen the Wossner pistons but can assure you the MRB ones are top notch and are unlikely to have the same probs as with the Asso brick. The black grease i...

Re: Ts1 Rebuild questions
Another question!
Checking on Broadys website and there are 4 grades of piston - a,b,c,d.
How can i tell what grade I need?- is there some marking on the barrel that indicates what the grade of the barrel is?
Thanks again
