Darreyl - well you can see what happened above. Pete Newbold - shagged transmission pulley followed closely by shagged barrel. Jamie Newbold...

Re: Quick Series 2
Hello, Whoever owns this Series 2. Be good to see what it could do on the quarter mile. Come to Elvington on 19th June and give it a go. Currently, the quickest Series 2 as measured at Straightliners Drag Race Meetings in the UK is Chiselspeed's Fat Lass ridden by Russ Milnes. This could be the quic...

Re: DL 125 speed
1960 Split, According to the instruction booklet that I received when I bought my 125dl brand new in February 1971, and which I've still got, the Maximum Speed is stated as 56.7 mph on page 9 of the Instruction Booklet.. All I know is that before I fitted a somewhat larger engine, I saw 65mph indica...

Re: Motoplat race ignition
Knowledge....
'Ive got one on my sprinter'
So have I + Rev Counter that came with it.
You were able to get Auto Advance/Retard boxes for them as well.
Pity they went t*ts up.
Mine's been mega reliable, even through 'twisted crank events!'

Re: MR K,s lambretta finished
Just to add to Stuart's rear hub complete with 'lightening hole'. I had exactly the same East Kirkby NSA 1/4 mile Sprint about 4 years ago. Got back to the paddock, having just done a 96mph terminal speed, and wondered why the back wheel seemed to be moving about as I was riding back down the return...
