I have one on my rb20. Very well made and a good fit. Nice kick around 6k and kept on going to 9ish. The only thing I didn't like about it was there was no end can support so the can bumped the kick lever bolt. the best is ceramic coating .. bloody expecive though :D The price on ceramic coating is starting to come down now that more people know about it and are having it done. I had my origional box and headder coated and it looks great going on 6 years with no signs of flaking, chipping or discoloring. ...

You answered your own question. If you have a shim or two between the layshaft and the rear main bearing you are reducing your main shim clearance down below the thinnest aviable shim. Think about it, you are making the length of the layshaft longer by adding shims. The only reason to ever add one t...
