you said decent! but then again, considering what you post out I suppose your view on decent differs to mine ;) Sorry should have included a new small-end bearing + top end gaskets = total nearer £90 (and we are talking the 2 x 1.5 piston ring in the quote) Go on then Eden...... pick a better pisto...

i have two Lambrettas powder coated, one white one orange, even Mr. Magoo could see the numbers if they tried looking, wouldnt be pleased if some jobs worth scrapped the coating off !! Why all the carb shortening and hole cutting when a genuine Keihin PWK (28/33/38mm) is the better carb allround without that hassle?

if it's getting too hot then there is a jetting/ignition/cooling issue that needs to be corrected. Also some of the replacement RD pistons have been known to drop ring pegs. It's a common problem. Last I researched this issue it looks like ProX pistons are the good ones and the Wiseco were the ones...

Used Scooterotica to tune my barrel & they were first class & got it back to me in time. Beedspeed for parts. Everytime. years ago I used to use beedpseed, but about 10 or 12 years ago they started sending out some right s**t so I stopped ordering from them. :? Ah bet they did!: Wrong jets ...
