Bought it as an almost completed 150 resto, but you have to make 'em your own.Just need some brakes now.

The carbon pm end can I have is actually only a carbon sleeve over what looks like a standard alloy can underneath, so probably not.

Thanks JIMS, I was hoping it was going to be pretty obvious.I just wondered if there were any measurments to take etc.
I suppose the're only lambrettas after all f.f.s!

Just took my old gp 150 engine apart which I knew wasn't quite right. Turns out it had the correct gp/sx 150 gearbox in except for an li 125 first gear.Seemed to run ok,first gear was a bit lower than should have been, but the cluster is pretty screwed up where the meshing wasn't (obviously) quite r...

Headset top threads stripped.

Can anyone tell me if there is an easier way of repairing stripped headlamp rim threads in a headset other than welding? Has anyone used any of the alternatives that can supposedly be drilled and tapped etc without having to have the top resprayed? Please tell me there is, cos Iv'e just thrown the r...

Alright Timo, yes we were there then.There were three ways to get to Rhyl,the top road, the middle or the coast road.We all explained the reasons to plod why we had hammers under our seats (rear hubs and rims etc) but big George fell flat when he said the baseball bat was for on the beach.
