If it has an internal seal, then there should be a tiny hole in the case underneath close to the bearing. Block that up, then fit an external seal (27 or 30mm to suit your hub) into the case on the outside of the circlip. Job's right. If the hub has been loose for a while however, it's probably had ...

Well the one I bought has a diagram which is pretty simple - black and red (like Knowledge's example) is DC out, leaving pink and yellow as AC in. I connected those to the two blues and that's it. You need to cut the black wire back or terminate it so there's no connection to it... it's basically an earth wire. I fitted one. Very nicely made. A whole lot stronger than the Pinasco it replaced, but then I've only done 130 odd miles so far. We don't really have easy access to dynos so no figures, but I did see on the GSF that with very little change (opening transfers) it out preformed a (non-reed) Quattrini....
