I had a similar issue but changed the hub bearing.
Shimmed up perfect in the end and quiet.

Re: TSR DJ Exhaust
Also I have used an original DJ before with just the rear runner trimmed. Depends how good rear shocker is. If it's knackered it will hit the rear floorboard but mine was ok with just an Escorts shock.

Re: TSR DJ Exhaust
Their website states you may need to trim the rear runner slightly which is normal. I'd say it will fit fine by the look of it.
I'd go for it at that price. Their site says dyno printout to be uploaded shortly but I think that's been on there for ages.

Re: TSR DJ Exhaust
You should only need to trim the rear footboard.
It should clear the panel. There is so little info on these pipes.
I did ask TSR about there's and they said they have had no issues and they have sold 100s of them.

What did you have before and was that setup perfectly?mick1 wrote:Swopped to a TMX 35 on my Avanti and noticed a big difference. More power and swifter response. Slightly less mpg and doesn't kick off quite as easy but may need tinkering with. As it runs so well when going i'm inclined to leave it as is.

What carb spec did you end up with?Mr G in NYC wrote:Just finished a Rusto resto on a SX200, 25mm carb and an original GP200 pipe
+ some light matching and porting and have to say its a beauty to ride , lots of low end torque and a good
turn of speed , top speed just shy of 70. mph. and very smooth . G.
