There is at least one Person on GSF whose been waiting over a year after paying, I think pipe design have got his engine as well. Nordspeed were getting slated for the same as well. Its Not oil exactly, sort of a Black Petrol smelling thick liquid. Oil Mix is right, Im Not riding hard as Im still running in. Could be running rich though, need to check that then. Thanks, Ive Seen them, they are only for the end can joints. Leaking franspeed tourer
My franspeed is Leaking Black oily Fluid out of the joints between the end can and exhaust stub. Im thinking of refitting it using exhaust Paste, can anyone recommend a decent paste that will stop the leaks and wont cause any problems when taking it apart again? Wrap Skateboard grip tape around the stems under the mirror brackets. You need to make the stems under the brackets thicker.

Wich brackets do you mean ? Are your mirrors on the headset or mounted on stems on crashbars?

If the price is right and most of the parts are good, the frame number is ok,you could restore it pretty easily.

You should also get down to the sellers house and check the whole scooter out before parting with your cash. It doesnt look like its been well put together at all.
