Re: Long range tank

Cheers for that Angry, I bought a 13ltr stainless with dual cutouts but sold it on to Frautzi as it didnt fit with the TMX flatslide.
I'd rather keep a toolbox but an 8ltr for this season fills me with dread! (Eire and Brid, Exmouth, Wales, especially!)

Re: New BGM 12v AC/DC Universal Regulators

That other one looks identical to the scootrs one which is also less than £8 all in: I have one on my indian GP but apparantly it only puts out 6volts as it's half wave?

Re: Restore or buy already done

Best advice I could give is to keep an eye out for someone who is selling their own pride and joy rather than something that's been built by them or a shop to a price for profit. I.e. they may well have either paid someone good to build it to a really decent spec or even better they might be someone...

Re: Rumi

wow!
They are rare as hens teeth here and even in Italy!
I had a tipo sport once, sadly couldn't afford to do it up though so I sold it on, beautiful and elegantly engineered, would give even a tuned vespa or lambretta a run for their money even today!

Re: adding a battery to ac sil ignition

OK I've just dug out the regulator I tried before: It says G G A and an earth terminal sign on the 4th connector. 12v 80w Taiwan Vespa Co ltd regulator no. 161639. Any good? That is only a regulator and doesn't have a DC output, some machines had a feed from that to a seperate rectifier. Many thank...

Re: adding a battery to ac sil ignition

No, I have a lince too, so when that is completely restored hopefully next year it will have this stage 4 GP motor in it as well as a completely redesigned loom, so that may well be completely DC. However, this loom is AC and likely to stay that way so I'd like to know if the regulator I mentioned i...
