They're not very good, better suited to cars with multiple lamps.
Better to use the 'pillar' type with leds allround the lamp itself sideways as well as rearwards, even better to use those ones specifically made like the Lambretta BGM rear lamp assembly with multiple low profile leds.

Yes, 300ml is enough from completely dry and rebuilt (although you should have soaked the plates 1st of course!)

cool! Many thanks I originally planned to get this fitted asap for euro lam Eire but we're off on 22nd! argh. My 5 plate is slipping a bit already and I have an emergency 4 plate ste with springs JIC, even then it would be great if I could have the 5 plate rocho clutch in my bag JIC of a major meltd...
