I'm setting about my first Lammy engine build and despite owning 4 of them over the last 13 years the most I've ever done is change a kickstart shaft. I've decided it's now time to stop being a fanny and have a go! I have an old completish series 2 engine which I am taking most of the parts from. I ...

Re: S3 panel handle brackets
Apparently I need the later handles and not the earlier ones I've got. (Or earlier panels with the tube welded in)

S3 panel handle brackets
Anyone seen panel brackets like this? No tubes and seem to have a lot of play in the handles.
Are they for later handles or am I missing something?

Re: festoon bulbs
Well I changed the festoon bulb in the headset for an LED one and it seems to be working well and good enough for a side light. (The festoon is the second whiter light on the video.
Glue gunned it in just to be certain

Re: festoon bulbs
So I fitted the LED speedo bulb and although there's a bit of a white spot I'd say it lights up the face just as well as the normal one and certainly good enough for nighttime riding. Waiting for the big festoon bulb to come and I'll try that too. https://vimeo.com/114470360 Sent from my iPhone usin...
