Re: rb250

Pjme use cro mo liners in the barrels they do and if you check the site they say that the liners will work with all types of rings used. They state they can handle kart revs up to 20.000 revs so I think you will be ok. I know rb's are supposed to run hot and have had problems with this but im sure p...

Re: stator plate rubbing issues

Think of it this way the flywheel when central will spin freely round the stator but if its off centre due to rivets being loose or the crank being twisted the flywheel is then going to spin out of aline. Like orbiting the stator so at one point the flywheel inner magnets are going to be nearest the...

Re: lightening a flywheel

I spoke to Ben this morning due to the fact that my latest one is new and reading this thread worried me. Ben informed me that if your Af flywheel has the magnets come loose then send it to Af and they will take a look at it for you. He said if its a genuine manufacture fault then they will replace ...

Re: stator plate rubbing issues

Twisted crank can give you a lot of vibration frough the scoot!
While its out get your mate to see if he can tell if its in line by eye or send it off to be checked!
Or as cezeta says check the pick up hasn't become loose too!
I hope its a simple and low cost answer you find good luck!

Re: stator plate rubbing issues

Could be one of a couple of problems! First of all your flywheel may be coming away from its boss which is probs why you can see that crack in the weld. Secondly You may of twisted your crank which is also feasable due to you having to replace your oil seal which may of blown due to the crank being ...

Re: lightening a flywheel

This problem with the AF Flywheel!! How many do you know of that have lost the magnets including the one you saw Knowledge as I have just fitted one and have had a few of them in the past with no problems other than having to line the pick up with the magnet properly. The new AF ones come with a was...

Re: Stainless steel inner control cables.

I use them all the time but only use shimano cables as they are the best!
try and get them as a complete cable when building your scoot the quality is excellent.
They are also nylon lined so a lot smoother than a cheap cable.

Although im happy with the tmx it seems I had the tm set up better!
