Re: LED COB Headlights (spanners manual)

Send him a message to see when they are back in, he's been helpful when I've been in contact.
I got some car dash lights off him too.
He's an ex scooterist and I believe working with scootering on getting a standard lammy fitting one tested. Still be DC though.

Have one on my Jet fitted with Jockeys headlight unit and I'm on full DC. A mate said its like having a floodlight behind hi...

Re: RT 225 gearing

I have the same set up , only the 28 mm delly , with a jet 200 gearbox , 4.82 gear ratio great stuff ! What sprockets do you have? I have the same with 16/46 but felt abit flat in 4 th after going from a v2 to v4 clubman. I'm just going from 58/110 to 60/110 crank, not sure if this will help or i s...

Re: BGM / RT 225CC KIT

Nothing fancy Glyn. I'm using a 22mm carb, Scootopia Clubman and a 47 rear sprocket. So you can see there is scope there to get more out of it. Even so, it's the fastest scooter I've had. Cool. I have 16/46 on mine but was wondering if its worth trying something else. Have a jet200 gearbox in mine.

Re: BGM / RT 225CC KIT

I bought mine because there didn't seem to be any decent 200 kits around that I wasn't prepared to pay an arm and a leg for. Just that extra few cc makes an enormous difference. So much so that I'm now using my original TV200 gearbox. What's not to like really? It's smooth, has the power and doesn'...

Re: Which cylinder ?

You'll get a different opinion of everybody.
Decide what type of riding you want and style and mph/mpg required then work from there.
Solo or group riding?
No point having a balls out screamer if you're riding with low revving tourers.
I have an RT225 and im happy with what it does for me.

Re: Serveta Colours

I'm not entirely sure how accurate the paint codes are on Pete's site to be honest. I don't know why exactly, but no records of the paint used seem to exist. And when you see some of the original paints they used I suspect there was a bit of a random approach to finishing their scooters. Probably w...
