Are you using the autolube and if not, have you blanked off the injection hole with sealant or gasket? Its about the only place where neat, unmixed 2 stroke could be coming from

Sounds obvious but there's no point carrying what you can't fix yourself, or could be bothered to fix. If you're going with a group its worth knowing between you what you're carrying and who can fix what, but its easy to fall into the trap of carrying everything but the kitchen sink. Tends to hit reserve on not much less than half a tank, mine will genrally be at 3-4 litres full from an 8l max when it goes onto reserve. One less problem to fix!

No, it needs a longer shock to lift the body relative to the rear wheel. As ducksta says it may just be that the extended nut/ spacer at the top mount is missing

Looking sat that I'd say the rear shock is allowing the frame to sit too low. You can see where its been catching on that back corner when you're sat on it and the shock is compressed. There should be plenty of room to get the carb box cover off, they're a standard size regardless. In fact, looking ...

SIP Speedo, Resistor cap and plug necessary?

SIP recommended using both a resistor cap and plug for the speedo but I've read conflicting info that you shouldn't use a resistor cap and plug as this leads to a weak spark causing starting issues? Any real life feedback on this?
